 Pioneer Woman Museum: open Tuesday-Friday 9Am-5PM, Saturday, 20-AM to 5PM,and Sundays 1-5PM 10am-5pm (Admission fee=adults $3 over 65=$2.50). But some days are without fees. Watch the newspapers for those dates.

Top of Oklahoma Historical Society museum FREE -but donations accepted.  303 S. Main in Blackwell, Ok.  Informaiton=363-0209   Native American and  land run and early settler photos and artifacts.  Library and audiovisual room.

MUSEUM-KAW CITY Open 2-5 Mon.,Tues, Thurs, Fri. ; 2-5 Saturday and Sunday, closed Wednesdays.

MUSEUMS-NEWKIRK

Newkirk Community Museum  FREE 101 S. Maple Street in Newkirk, Ok. Open by appointment=580-362-2377.  Open Sundays 2-4PM.  Oldest standing home =1893. Largest Oklahoma collection of one  room school stage curtains.

MUSEUMS-TONKAWA

A.D.Buck Museum of Science and History   is located at the corner of Pine and North Streets on the campus of Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa.  Phone 580=-628-3318.  WEB SITE= http://www.north-ok.edu  Open by appointment.

World War II Historical Marker of site of former German prisoner of war facility, "Camp Tonkawa".  North of Hiway 60 at Exit #214 at Tonkawa. Take hiway side road North of Hiway 60 East to marker.    The Water Tower silo and a few buildings still stand.  The Camp interning 3000 prisoners closed in 1945.

McCarter Museum of Tonkawa History  220 E. Grand Ave. in Tonkawa. 580-728-2220  Early history as well as WW 2 prison camp.  Open Monday-Saturday 1-3PM.
