Youth Ministries

Youth who are 6th-12th graders are involved in a variety of ministries in the church. We offer Sunday School on Sunday mornings at 9:15.  The youth gather the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings at 4:30 p.m. for a social time prior to the 5:00 meeting.  In addition, they take part in district activities such as summer camp, mid-winter retreat, and other fun stuff as it comes up.

Youth who are in 6th grade have the opportunity to take part in confirmation. Confirmation is also offered for older youth and adults who have never been confirmed or who want a refresher course. Confirmation is a course in learning more about Christianity, the church, and what it means to be a Christian and a professing member of the United Methodist Church.

Although Albright does not currently sponsor any scouting ministries, several of our youth are involved in scouting. We support our youth in scouting, 4-H, school activities, and other endeavors.

At Albright, we not only believe the children and youth are the future of the church - we believe our children and youth are the church today. Children and youth take part in all activities and ministries of the church.
